John Hunter
has been studying the
ideas of F. M. Alexander since 1978 and teaching them since 1984.
He has
assisted in the training of over fifty teachers and has taught the Technique
to students of The Royal Academy of Music since 1985.
In 1986 he was elected to the
Council of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique; from 1989 to
1992 he was Chairman of the Society and continued to serve on the Council until
1996.
He runs regular refresher courses for teachers and has taught in
Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland and the
USA.
